Amar Kaka's update: Mar '17
1. Jakkur Lake Organic Community Garden is well on its way🌱🌱🌱🌾🌾
2. Perfect soil mix is prepared using mixture of native soil, red soil, organic compost .
3. Collected red bricks, rocks around the lake area and used them to partition the raised beds.
4. Quality seeds collected from other communities , fellow gardeners also odered  online for some rare varieties
5. Due to weather conditions little garden needs watering on daily basis or sometimes twice in a day.
6. Thanks to the amazing water source around with rich organic nutrients.  Hand-watering the garden area .
7. Exited to see glorious green leafy vegetables like lettuce, spinach, mint, corriander, methi, tota kura etc  growing.
8. Raddish, beetroot, cauliflower, okra,  cluster beans etc just started growth
9. Feels good to see pumpkin, various gourds, cucumber vines spreading over the lake side.
10.  Great job by jal poshaks and the budding gardeners.
11. Community gardening is gaining attention , with new participants and visitors.
